International Women's Day of Song and Ceremony

We invite you to join us in a celebration of Woman - to raise our voices in celebration of ourselves, of each other and of Sacred Mother Life.

We are blessed to have the lovely Tracy Mack to help and inspire us to sing.

We will gather at 10.00 in Sue’s Crystal Barn and open our sacred circle

We will learn a beautiful song and sing together with drums and rattles.

We will then learn the Algonquin Water Song

We will break for lunch at 12.30/1-ish

After lunch we will go to the River Tamar (2pm-ish) to sing to the river and pour in water that we have gathered from many wells and other sacred places over the years.

All women are welcome to join us for this event.
Girls who are old enough to choose to come and participate are also welcome.

We’ll gather in the Crystal Barn so wear comfortable layers, warm socks and shoes that are easy to slip on and off. You might have to sit on the floor - elders have first option of chairs!

Bring lunch to share, drums, rattles and beautiful ceremony clothes for the river song.

If you have water from a special place, please bring it.

There is a small fee of £10, but we ask that you honour the day by giving as much as you can afford (please think what you usually pay for workshops!) and we’ll send all extras to The Women’s Centre, Cornwall

Men who love and honour the feminine are welcome to join us at the river in a circle of support. Boys, girls who are too young for the earlier gathering, and women who haven’t been to the preparation are also welcome.
